What Size Backdrop Sign Do I Need?
Selecting the right size for your custom backdrop signage can be tricky! We’re a very visual team, so we pulled together some graphics to help you visualize backdrop sizes a little bit better and to help you select the backdrop size that’s right for you.
Before purchasing a custom sign for your backdrop, we recommend that you measure your backdrop wall; we’ve found that most of our backdrop signs are displayed on 6’x6’ or 8’x8’ backdrop walls - either hedge walls or boxwoods.
WE MAKE 4 STANDARD BACKDROP SIZES:
18” wide | 24” WIDE | 36” WIDE | 44” WIDE
The sizes listed above are common sizes, however we can cut any custom size you’d like in order to fit the amount of space you’re working with. Our largest machine is 4’x8’.
Our backdrop sizing is based on how wide your word(s) will be. For names or include middle names as well (for example “Ashley Marie”) you’ll want to consider sizing up!
8’x8’ backdrop walls are also very common, so you’ll want
to consider that as well when selecting your backdrop.

We cut our personalized name backdrops from a variety of different materials including a variety of woods (birch, walnut, cherry, and oak), as well as acrylic (clear, black, white, mirrored and more!). It’s always important to considered the color palette of the event & the wall that your sign will be displayed on as well.
